Due to the winter season and logistical concerns, the Village has no plans to initiate a special pick-up for tree limbs and brush damaged in the recent storm.
Residents are asked to stockpile limbs and brush in a convenient location on their property for pick-up by the Village during our annual spring brush pick-up scheduled for spring of 2010.
Please do not pile tree limbs and/or brush along the street at this time as this will interfere with our future snowplowing operations. If you are unable to pile your limbs and brush on your property, Orchard Ridge Landfill will accept branches and brush at their facility located at W124 N9355 Boundary Road.
Since the free Yard Waste Permits have expired for 2009, Orchard Ridge will charge residents one and one-half cents ($0.015) per pound with a $3.00 minimum charge for disposal of tree limbs and brush at the landfill. Orchard Ridge Landfill hours are 6:30 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday; 7:00 am - 12:00 pm, Saturday.
